Hutcheon & Pearce to acquire LandHQ
Hutcheon and Pearce Operations Pty Ltd, the largest Australian family-owned John Deere dealership, has entered into an agreement to acquire LandHQ Pty Ltd which operates across Bowral, Penrith, Nowra and Queanbeyan areas.
Established in Coolamon NSW in 1953, Hutcheon and Pearce has experienced substantial growth under the leadership of the founders’ grandson, Arron Hutcheon. Hutcheon and Pearce now operates in 21 branch locations, including the four LandHQ locations and employs over 500 people across New South Wales.
The acquisition aligns with Hutcheon and Pearce’s dedication to being the John Deere dealer of choice in agriculture, golf and turf, lifestyle, and CCE machinery and equipment.
“As I say to everyone in the team, we just need to continue to focus on being the best; if we become the biggest because we’re the best, then that’s okay too. We need to do our job well and do right by our customers” added Arron Hutcheon, CEO, Hutcheon and Pearce.
The move not only enhances the businesses’ geographical footprint but brings valuable experience and specialised technical support to the region through Hutcheon & Pearce developed TECSight services, working to compliment the exceptional local sales, parts and service support that LandHQ is known for.
James Evins, LandHQ Managing Director, will continue to serve on the Hutcheon and Pearce Board of Directors. LandHQ will operate under the Hutcheon and Pearce brand from Thursday, 14 December 2023.
