Falling for the See & Spray™ Technology on Hagie Sprayers

Our first “date” in this speed-dating session with John Deere’s latest machinery is the all-new is the See & Spray™ technology on Hagie sprayers. This exciting product release is a game-changer that will make you stop and take a double-take.

Already available as a precision upgrade on select John Deere sprayers, See & Spray Premium is an AI-powered weed-sensing system that activates individual spray nozzles when target weeds are “seen” by boom-mounted cameras. This technology ensures precise herbicide application, reducing post-herbicide use by more than 50%.

The availability of See & Spray Premium on Hagie STS sprayers means that more farmers and more custom applicators will have access to one of the most powerful tools available for maximising cost-efficiency and in-field productivity. This innovation not only improves the operator experience but also offers significant cost savings, making it a must-have for modern farming operations.

Getting to Know the S7 Series Combines

Next on our speed-dating agenda is the all-new 2025 S7 Series Combines. Unveiled for the 2025 model year, these combines promise significant productivity gains and fuel efficiency improvements. The S7 Series boasts a four-model lineup featuring new engines, cab and exterior styling updates, and three automation package options designed to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

The highlight of the S7 Series is the optional G5 Advanced Package, which bundles five advanced guidance and automation technologies into an annual license. This package ensures that users automatically receive access to new features as they’re released, keeping their combines at the cutting edge of agricultural technology. Add in details of the new tech.

Compared to earlier John Deere S Series combines, the S7 Series introduces updated systems for residue handling, grain handling, and loss sensing. These advancements contribute to the S7’s promise of a 20% increase in productivity while reducing fuel consumption by 10%.

The Largest Tractor Ever – The 2025 9RX Series

Our final “date” introduces us to the largest tractor ever in John Deere’s lineup – the 2025 9RX. Unveiled at the Commodity Classic show in Houston, Texas, this powerful addition to the 9RX tractor series includes three new models: the 9RX 710, 770, and 830. These models bring unprecedented pulling power, the latest precision ag capabilities, and improved operator comfort.

The new 9RX tractors are powered by Stage V-compliant 18-litre JD18X engines. These engines deliver up to 913 maximum horsepower (680 kilowatts) and up to 4,234 newton-metres (3,123 pounds-foot) of torque on the top model, making them the most powerful tractors John Deere has built to date.

The new undercarriages have 1,200-millimetre (47.2-inch) drive sprockets with a wrapping angle of 110 degrees and 7.5 drive lug engagement. This design ensures better traction and stability. Owners can access daily maintenance points from the ground or the new service catwalk, and the hydraulic oil service interval is extended to 4,000 hours to increase uptime.

The optional triple hydraulic pump has a maximum flow rate of 636 litres (168 gallons) per minute. The hydraulic Intelligent Power Management can provide an additional 40 HP to power the largest hydraulic implements, ensuring that the 9RX series can handle even the most demanding tasks with ease.
