Why did you apply for TOPGUN?
Coming from a dairy farm, I grew up on tractors and have a passion for Ag. I applied for TOPGUN because of the opportunities with H&P mostly around the training they provide and the broad range of machinery we get to work on is above the rest.

What are you enjoying most about TOPGUN so far? The best part about TOPGUN is the opportunities that it presents, especially in the most difficult and busy time periods. The amount of support and people wanting you as a individual and team to strive to your full potential is by far exceeding my expectations.

What are you enjoying most about TOPGUN so far?
Wide range of learning for independent jobs to working with a technician in the field. I also enjoy working with electrical and fault finding, working on a wide range of gear from a lawn mower to a 9000 series tractor. TOPGUN has been a great experience for me to do a mature age apprenticeship and I would recommend it to anyone.

What are you enjoying about the TOPGUN experience so far?
I like the travelling out to different properties because you work on different machinery and its always a different issue and at the end of the day you always learn something

You get a lot out of it! You get to work on a variety of machines, with a lot of different people. You’re not always in the one place you could be in the workshop or out in the field. Through the TOPGUN program you make friends for life.

What are you enjoying most about TOPGUN so far?
The diversity of every job, where each job can take you and the different skills you learn. I also really like that everyone is there to help and guide you. There are lots of mates to be made through the program.

Why did you apply for TOPGUN?
It has been my dream to work with John Deere equipment ever since I saw my first John Deere tractor when I was a little boy. They have so much variety in machines over other competitors.

TOPGUN is an awesome program for a wide variety of people from all ages. I applied for the TOPGUN apprenticeship because i really wanted to pursue a job in the Agriculture industry, so now I get to learn about how the machines work and how to fix them.

I applied because of the opportunities you get through the brand- specific training. I love coming to work. Everyday is a new challenge! You could be working on a mower all the way up to a 9000 series tractor!

Why did you apply for TOPGUN? I applied for TOPGUN because I have grown up around tractors and farm machinery. I always loved understanding how things worked and how to fix them. The opportunities that are available through H&P and the quality of training they provide for apprentices and also after you finish is above the rest.

Why should you apply for TOPGUN? In my previous job I drove all different John Deere machines so now its a great experience to able to diagnose and repair them. We work on the biggest to smallest machines and its great! You get a chance to meet customers and work alongside good people who become mates for life.

Why did you apply for TOPGUN? I applied for TOPGUN for a few reasons. As a young child I always had an interest in farming/ agricultural areas, tinkering with machines and how they worked. I love the thoughts and feelings I get when I work on so many different sized machines. The TOPGUN Program and my team are a great support. After a short work experience in the Finley Branch, I knew this was the path I wanted to take as everyone there were just great! I also love to get a little dirt on my hands.
