Missed Henty 2022? We recap the great event
The excitement is palpable at H&P as we count down to the 2022 Henty Machinery Field Days. While the stress maybe a little bit real for the teams responsible for preparing our site, rest assured it’s all systems go here as we lock in our plans, finalise stock and work through our Field Days specials.
Having attended Henty as a kid and now as our Sales & Marketing Manager, Andrew Watt simply can’t wait until September 20 rolls around.
“I am like the little kid for Christmas. Except now I sometimes also feel a bit like Santa with the big and little green machines we get to share with everyone!
“It’s a big tradition for us here at Hutcheon & Pearce. For almost 60 years, the Henty Machinery Field Days has been the go-to farming event in southern NSW, and for 59 of those years, we’ve been there, catching up with our customer families, making new friends and celebrating all things agriculture.
“Of course, we’re expecting massive crowds this year as it’s been a few years between Henty Field Days. We’ve had a lot of changes in Hutcheon & Pearce since the last time we were there, so we’re excited to share all that with our customers and to showcase some of the new products and services we have on offer to support them well beyond the initial machinery purchase.”
This year, we’ll have one our largest-ever marquees, measuring 40×10 metres and we’ll also have one of our largest H&P staff contingents with around 50 members at the event. While most will be from our Wagga and Albury branches, we’ll also have members of our Aftermarket, TECSight and Precision Ag teams there and possibly even a few from our newest and northern-based counterparts coming off the back of AgQuip, just to see how we do things down south.
As always, just in time for Henty, we’ve released our Spring specials. Running through to the end of October, we have some fantastic offerings across lubricants, mowers, and right up through to compact tractors, 6000s and balers.
“And just because we’re all a bit excited about the weather warming up, we’re throwing in a free John Deere Webber BBQ with every purchase of a 5E or 6M tractor.
Plus, we’ve put together some really attractive finance offers to give customers the opportunity to bundle and save. There’s so many reasons to come and see us. Just look for the big green signs and H&P flags!”
“We take our Henty field days seriously. We’ve booked the largest site there and our marquee has open sides to give passers-by full exposure to all the ride-on mowers and compact tractors on display. We’ll have a real lifestyle area set up for families and kids to really feel comfortable – the kids will absolutely love the play zone with ride-on toys. And of course, there’ll also be twice daily appearances by everyone’s favourite, George the Farmer.
“The centrepiece of our machinery display will be our new harvester, the X9, which has the highest ever harvesting capacity of any machine on the market, not just John Deere. We’ll have plenty of staff on site to show people around it and answer any questions they may have about it or any other machinery on site.”Andrew Watt- Sales & Marketing Manager
