Do you have the JDNA?
Here at Hutcheon & Pearce, it’s in the blood. We love our John Deere green machines and take pride in selling and servicing the best products on the market.
Like us, many of our customers are from multigenerational farming families. Many have only ever known green and proudly continue the green tradition with their own John Deere machinery because they know and trust it stands for quality, reliability and innovation.
We are proud of our long-standing relationships with our customers and the rural communities in which we live and work. We wouldn’t have it any other way – it’s who we are. It’s in our blood. It’s our JDNA.
These customers share the JDNA:
Jackson family
Murrami NSW
Growing rice, cotton and now mung beans at her property in Murrami, in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, Leanne Jackson purchases all farm equipment and parts through Hutcheon & Pearce and remembers trips to the local branch with her Dad as a child.
She describes her family as “very green” and sees her children are heading that way too.
Yates family
Yerong Creek NSW
The Yates family has been farming in the Yerong Creek area for over 100 years.
Fourth-generation farmer Tom Yates hopes to one day take over the family’s 5000-acre ‘Barwon’ property, which produces a range of crops and crossbred sheep for meat production, and includes their Poll Dorset and White Suffolk stud.
Tom says that once you grow up farming with John Deere, it’s always in the blood.
Hawkins family
Berrigan NSW
Running a mixed cereal, rice and livestock operation, the Hawkins family has had a connection with the Armstrong family at Hutcheon & Pearce Finley since 1963.
Michael Hawkins purchased his first header in 1978 and continues to buy John Deere machinery from Bill and Cathy Armstrong to this day. He says it’s the reliable service and support that keeps him coming back.
Robertson family
Finley NSW
One of Mark Robertson’s earliest memories is going with his father to buy a John Deere 45 rice header with a 10ft front and no cabin.
The second-generation farmer now works his property with wife Margot and sons William and Cameron and continues to buy John Deere products because it’s a trusted brand with machines he can rely on each and every time out of the shed.
Sleigh family
Jerilderie NSW
Brothers Richard and Andrew Sleigh moved to Jerilderie from Central Victoria in 1982. Andrew takes care of the livestock, while Richard handles the cropping.
Hutcheon & Pearce customers for 30 years, Richard says it’s fantastic to be able to call the team at Finley and know they will handle any problem as if it’s their own.
