Welcome to the Hutcheon & Pearce High Performance Academy (HPA) Apprenticeship Program!
Are you ready to kick-start your career in the agricultural industry? Look no further than the Hutcheon & Pearce High Performance Academy Apprenticeship Program. Our program offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts, gain hands-on experience, and develop essential skills for a successful career in machinery operations and maintenance.
We have a couple of career options:
Role: Working in both the workshop and in the field.
Timeframe: 4 years
Training: You’ll complete a Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology at TAFE, NSW and the Hutcheon and Pearce High Performance Academy in Wagga Wagga with all Hutcheon and Pearce apprentices. You’ll attend 6, 1 week blocks of classes each year for the first 3 years of your apprenticeship. The 4th and final year of the apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to put your TAFE and classroom learning into practice to further cement your training.
Prospects: In time, as you progress through your career, you will be provided the opportunity to further grow and develop your skills and may be promoted to a specialist Diagnostic Service Technician or Master Technician, Service Foreman, TECSight Specialist or even Service Manager.
Role: Working behind the counter face-to-face with customers, on the road selling parts, on the phone interpreting a customer’s requirements, in the warehouse working with the inventory or with the Service Team to source parts and attachments for a customer’s repair work or a new machinery delivery.
Timeframe: 3 years
